New Orleans based singer-songwriter, Aybil, has always loved storytelling. While studying Creative Writing, in her hometown Memphis, TN, she began exploring forms of poetry and songwriting. It took several years for her to take the stage, but she swiftly gained opportunities to feature locally with her unique voice and folk styling.

She released her first single “Jordan Poole” in 2020. A follow-up single “Truth Be Told” was featured in the short independent film "Innocence" (2021). Her EP “Something for the Long Distance” which housed both folk and experimental hip-hop was released in 2021. She was featured on the Loungin’ in the Park stage at DreamFest10 (2021).
